Tottenham are back in Europa League action on Thursday night when they face Norwegian club Bodo/Glimt in the first leg of their semi-final clash. The first leg will be played at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and Spurs will be determined to get off to a solid start in this tie ahead of what will be a tricky trip to Scandinavia.

Tottenham’s whole season rides on the Europa League, with their Premier League campaign having all-but ended in disaster, while the Europa League can still offer them Champions League qualification. Spurs beat Eintracht Frankfurt in the quarter-finals, while Bodo/Glimt defeated Lazio in an impressive two-leg win, ultimately winning on penalties. Bodo/Glimt have a fair few suspension issues, but they should be feeling fitter than their hosts, with their season having only begun earlier this month. Here we round up all the latest injury and suspension news ahead of this one.

Odin Bjørtuft - Doubt

Bjortuft pulled up with a groin injury in the Norwegian club’s last game and will be a serious doubt here. Manager Kjetil Knutsen added: "I do not know anything. I never enjoy a player laying down, but the medical staff are looking into it."

Patrick Berg - Out (Suspended)

Berg has reached the yellow card limit and will be suspended for the first leg.

Hakon Evjen - Out (Suspended)

Evjen is suspended for the first leg for the same reason.

Andreas Helmersen - Out (Suspended)

Helmersen was sent off in the second leg against Lazio and will miss this game as a consequence.

Ole Blomberg - Doubt

Blomberg missed Bodo/Glimt’s last game through injury and will remain a doubt here.

Heung-min Son - Doubt

Postecoglou was ruled out of the last game. Before the Liverpool game, the Australian said: "Squad wise, there's no change. All the guys got through (Forest) okay. In terms of rehab, Sonny's the only one who is going through that process, improving, but not ready for Sunday.

"Again, with the programme we have coming up, Thursday obviously is a big night for us, so it will be a matter of playing a few that need the game time and others we feel may need less exposure, we'll have a look at that. He's improving. It's the first time he's been out on the grass today, he said it felt distinctively better than it was. It's a day by day situation."

Postecoglou added: "We don't have injury problems, as such. The only one is Sonny, trying to work his way back. He's improving, which is positive for us, but not (fit) for Sunday. Everyone from the last game has come back well, so apart from the longer-term ones, the rest of the squad is fit and available." Son could be back in contention here, but we will find out more at the pre-match press conference later this week.

Radu Dragusin - Out

Dragusin is out for the rest of the season and likely a chunk of next term with an ACL injury. Postecoglou confirmed at the time: “Radu underwent surgery today following his ACL injury. That procedure has now been completed, and the centre-back will now commence with his recovery before beginning the rehab process.”
