Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison is expected to leave North London after the season, but is unlikely to join a club in Brazil, according to reports.

The 27-year-old is reportedly ‘more likely’ to move to Saudi Arabia this summer, with two clubs there pushing for his arrival in the Pro League and ready to double his £130,000-per-week salary.

Richarlison has struggled with several injuries at Spurs this season and has played just 562 minutes of football across his 16 appearances under Ange Postecoglou.

The Brazil international is believed to be one of the highest earners at the club and remains under contract until June 2027.

Clubs ready to double his Spurs salary

According to Brazilian journalist Jorge Nicola, Richarlison would be keen on a move to Saudi Arabia this summer and reportedly has two potential suitors who are readying ‘big’ offers:

“Unable to play due to a series of injuries at Tottenham and ruling out returning to Brazil, Richarlison is more likely to move to Saudi Arabia.

“Two clubs have already signalled with big offers for the middle of the year.”

Richarlison, who joined Tottenham from Everton in 2022, has struggled to establish himself as a regular in North London and has made just 32 starts in the league since.

The 27-year-old, praised as ‘outstanding’, managed to score for Spurs after coming off the bench during their 4-2 loss at Wolves on Sunday, netting his fifth goal of the league campaign.

Tottenham are heading for their worst Premier League finish since the 1993/94 season as they sit 15th in the table with just six games to go.

Ange Postecoglou’s side have lost four of their last six games and face Nottingham Forest at home next Monday.
