What is Disasi’s Stance On Tottenham Move?

Fabrizio Romano has reported that the Lilywhites have had an offer accepted by their London rivals for the Frenchman on a loan deal until the end of the season. It has been reported that Tottenham have agreed to pay Chelsea a fee of around £5 million for this deal as they look to add more options to their defensive line.

Romano has also stated that Aston Villa have now stopped talks with the Blues over the defender, even though he had agreed terms with them over a winter move. It’s added that Unai Emery’s side have backed away from this operation because Chelsea are reportedly asking for a higher loan fee as they feel that the Villans are direct competition for a top-4 place in the Premier League.

Romano also notes that it’s “up to the player” on whether or not the Frenchman wants to join Spurs before the transfer deadline.

How Has Tottenham’s Winter Business Been So Far?

Tottenham Hotspur have been quite proactive in adding more players to their squad in the ongoing transfer window. They signed a new goalkeeper in Antonin Kinsky because of Guglielmo Vicario’s injury issues, and also recalled forward Dane Scarlett from his loan at Portsmouth. They have also signed South Korean youngster Min-hyeok Yang, who was loaned to QPR for the remainder of the 2024/25 season.

The latest signing for Ange Postecoglou’s side has been that of Kevin Danso from RC Lens, but it’s clear that they want more defenders to fix their shaky defensive issues. Disasi is naturally a centre-back, but can also operate as a right-back.
