Tottenham Hotspur could complete a shock move for West Ham United skipper Jarrod Bowen in the summer transfer window - with reports suggesting that Daniel Levy is ready to make an offer for his services in the coming months.
Bowen joined West Ham back in January 2020, and has been an immense figure at the London Stadium, scoring the bulk of their goals as well as nabbing the all-important winner in their Europa Conference League final against Fiorentina back in June 2023. But his time could be up if Spurs make their move - with Bowen being considered as a top target.
Report: Tottenham 'Could Make £50m Bid' for Jarrod Bowen
The north London outfit are looking to add attacking recruits
The report by CaughtOffside states that Bowen could come under a £51million offer from Tottenham in the summer months after a number of stellar seasons at West Ham.
The forward has been linked with a move away from the club for quite some time, with Liverpool keen on securing his signature - and despite coming up as one of the most popular names in the transfer window, West Ham aren't considering the sale of their star man.
The Hammers know the importance and outstanding quality that Bowen has, and they are unlikely to entertain any offers for the England international amidst his leadership and goalscoring ability, which have been vital to the club for a number of years - seeing him called 'special' by former boss David Moyes.
However, CaughtOffside sources have revealed that Premier League strugglers Spurs could make an offer of up to €60million (£51million) for Bowen in a bid to unsettle the Hammers star and take him from the east to the north of the capital.
Tottenham have lacked incisiveness in the final third at times this season, thanks to Dejan Kulusevki being dropped into his role as a number eight - and Bowen would fix that whilst offering Brennan Johnson much-needed minutes at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
GIVEMESPORT Key Statistic: Jarrod Bowen has 16 caps for England, scoring his only goal against Ireland back in November.
Bowen can operate anywhere across the front three, and fits the bill as a Premier League-proven star, with 52 goals for the Hammers in just 189 top-flight appearances - and nine goals in just 30 outings this time around have shown his proficiency under both Julen Lopetegui and Graham Potter in what has been a hugely testing campaign for the Irons.
