The 23-year-old’s impact was significant in the 2022/23 season, during which he scored 6 goals and provided 7 assists in 35 Premier League appearances. His impressive performances earned him the Aston Villa Young Player of the Season award and recognition as the Premier League Academy Graduate. (Transfermarkt)

Villa have also shown interest in signing Giovani Lo Celso, with Unai Emery keen on reuniting with him.

The Argentine midfielder has struggled for consistent playing time under Ange Postecoglou. His departure seems likely as the club aim to offload players not fit into their plans.

While Aston Villa have maintained that Ramsey is a key part of Emery’s squad, it remains to be seen whether Spurs can successfully tempt them into selling him with an improved bundle offer or not remains to be seen.

Tottenham Hotspur are ramping up their efforts to secure an attacking talent as the transfer window progresses. One of their primary focuses is Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze, with Spurs eyeing a summer move.

Despite Eze being under contract with Palace until June 2027, Spurs are reportedly ready to meet his £60 million release clause, plus an additional £8 million in potential add-ons, bringing the total to £68 million.

This would surpass Tottenham’s previous record transfer fee of £63 million including add-ons for Tanguy Ndombele in 2019.

Renowned Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, in a recent YouTube update, provided insights into the situation.

He indicated that while Eze is indeed a target for Spurs, the negotiations are not yet at an advanced stage.

Romano reported that Crystal Palace are keen to retain the England international, and the deal’s progression will depend on whether Spurs meet the release clause. He emphasised that the transfer is not imminent and discussions are ongoing.

Romano said:

“For Eberechi Eze, I see many questions coming from you guys but at the moment what I’m hearing is that there is still nothing at advancing stages. Crystal Palace are still hoping for him to stay. The release clause is also into his contract, so it will depend on the release clause. But at the moment it’s still not something happening today it’s still not something imminent.”

Eze’s recent inclusion in England’s squad for the ongoing Euro 2024 highlights his quality. The attacking midfielder’s abilities were on full display last season, even with a month-long absence due to a muscle injury.

He still managed to score 11 goals and provide four assists in 27 Premier League appearances, showcasing his impact on the field.

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou is eager to strengthen the squad to contend for the Premier League title next season, and Eze’s playing style is seen as ideal for his footballing philosophy.

Tottenham have made another move in its quest to secure young talent by signing teenage striker George Feeney from Glentoran.

At just 16 years old, Feeney has already made waves in Northern Irish football, becoming Glentoran’s youngest-ever goalscorer at 15 in October last year.

Feeney’s impressive performances and early achievements caught the eye of several Premier League clubs, including Brighton, Brentford, West Ham, Crystal Palace, and Nottingham Forest.

Despite this interest, Tottenham emerged as the frontrunner and successfully secured Feeney’s signature, according to Football London’s Alasdair Gold. The report claims that the club is set to announce the signing officially in early July when the intake for the new academy players is normally released to the public.

Feeney’s rise through Glentoran’s ranks has been nothing short of remarkable. He made his first-team debut last September and quickly showcased his potential by scoring numerous goals for the club’s young reserve team.

His ability to compete at a senior level despite his young age has made him one of Northern Ireland’s most promising prospects.

Feeney is the son of former Northern Ireland international Warren Feeney, who was managing Glentoran when George made his first-team debut. Despite his father’s critical eye, George’s talent shone through, earning him a place in the squad.

Initially, Feeney is expected to join Tottenham’s U18 and U21 teams, where he will continue his development before transitioning to the first team.

His signing represents a significant win for Spurs in the race to secure top young talent and underscores the club’s commitment to building a bright future.

Tottenham’s signing of Feeney aligns with manager Ange Postecoglou’s vision of nurturing young talent.

The club has already added promising players like Ashley Phillips, Alejo Veliz, and Lucas Bergvall to their ranks. Signing Feeney is another step in building a strong foundation for the future.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Giovani Lo Celso has been linked with her move away from the club this summer.

La Liga outfit Real Betis want to bring him back to the club, but they are unwilling to meet Tottenham’s asking price. The North London club are holding out for a fee of around €15 million, but Real Betis would be willing to offer around €10 million.

It will be interesting to see if the two clubs can reach a compromise. The report from ABC Sevilla claims that Lo Celso would be willing to force an exit by threatening to leave on a free transfer next year if Spurs do not allow him to move on this summer.

The midfielder is not a key starter at Spurs and he wants to play more often. He has fond memories of his time at Real Betis and he was a key player for them. A return to La Liga would be ideal for him.

The technically gifted midfielder would add goals, flair and creativity to their attack and help them improve in the final third. He is also capable of playing as a winger as well as in the number ten role.

He is expected to replace Nabil Fekir at the Spanish club this summer.

Meanwhile, Spurs need to improve their squad as well and they should look to cut their losses on the player and let him move on. The proceeds from his exit will boost their transfer coffers.

It remains to be seen how the situation unfolds over the next few weeks.

Spurs paid €48 million including bonuses for the midfielder and they will have to incur heavy losses on him this summer.

Bologna defender Riccardo Calafiori has been linked with a move away from the club this summer and the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are keen on him.

A report from Tuttosport has claimed that the London clubs are keen on signing the 22-year-old Italian international defender, and they have even mentioned within the report that there will be a ‘North London Derby’ for the talented young defender.

Calafiori is regarded as one of the finest young defenders in European football and he would be a long-term asset for both clubs. Tottenham need more quality defensively and signing another central defender could complete their defensive unit for the future. The Italian international is versatile enough to operate as a central defender as well as the left back. He could be the ideal addition for them. He has all the attributes to develop into a world-class player with coaching and guidance. He could be an indispensable asset for the North London club in the coming seasons.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are looking to add more quality to the defensive unit as well. Calafiori could form a solid partnership with William Saliba at the heart of the defence, and it will be interesting to see if Arsenal can win the race for his signature. Both clubs need to improve their squad this summer and signing one of the best young players in the world could prove to be excellent business.

Meanwhile, Calafiori has proven himself in Italian football and he could look to try out a new challenge in the Premier League next season. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Emerson Royal has been linked with a move to AC Milan in recent weeks.

The Italian giants are hoping to sign him for a fee of around €20 million this summer, but Tottenham are holding out for a fee of around €25 million, as per Corriere Dello Sport. It will be interesting to see if the two clubs can come to an agreement in the coming days.

The 25-year-old defender is very keen on a move to the Italian club, and he is ready to accept a pay cut in order for the deal to go through. Milan are hoping that the player’s desire to join will strengthen their negotiating position and help get the deal done.

The 25-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at the North London club and he needs to leave in order to play more often. He is versatile enough to operate as a fullback on either flank and he could be the ideal utility man for Milan next season.

The Italian outfit will need more quality and depth in the side if they want to win the league title and players like Emerson could prove to be very useful. He has shown his quality in La Liga and in the Premier League. There is no doubt that he has the physical and technical attributes to do well in Serie A as well.

The difference in valuation between the two clubs is around €5 million and therefore it is fair to assume that a compromise will be reached eventually. Furthermore, the player’s strong desire to move to Milan will certainly act in the favour of the Italian outfit.

Tottenham Hotspur are looking to reinforce their defensive line-up this summer by adding a versatile defender to their squad.

Reports suggest that Spurs are considering re-signing Kyle Walker-Peters from Southampton. According to GiveMeSport sources, the North London club are exploring the potential return of their former player, who left for the Saints in 2020.

Spurs are eager to sign another right-back as cover for Pedro Porro. With Emerson Royal close to an exit, Spurs will be left with the Spaniard as the only available right-back option. Walker-Peters, who has emerged as a prime candidate, fits this need perfectly.

The report claims that the club are looking for a player who would prove the best value for someone who would not be a starter, as they are not willing to spend a big amount of money on a backup.

The 27-year-old defender is in the final year of his contract, which expires in June of the next year. With no contract extension in sight, his departure from Southampton appears likely.

Last season, he was a consistent performer at Southampton, starting 46 games in the Championship and contributing three goals and three assists.

His versatility is a notable asset, as he has played primarily as a right-back but has also been effective as a left-back on multiple occasions.

Walker-Peters’ ability to perform well on both flanks makes him an attractive option for Tottenham. His previous stint with the club adds to his appeal, offering familiarity and a seamless integration into the squad.

Considering his contract situation and the Spurs’ need for a reliable full-back, Walker-Peters presents a viable and cost-effective option for the Lilywhites.

Ange Postecoglou has high expectations from Brennan Johnson, whom he signed from Nottingham Forest last summer.

The North London club are looking for ways to further bolster their attack ahead of next season. Signing a world-class striker is one of their priorities as they look to fill the void left by the departure of their record goal scorer Harry Kane who joined Bayern Munich last summer.

Postecoglou wants a top-quality forward leading his attack next season and he is also keen on adding depth to the flanks. According to a report from Football London, he has high expectations from Brennan Johnson heading into next season.

The Australian manager believes the Welsh international could build on the impressive start that he had last season. Since making the move from Nottingham Forest to Tottenham, he has been involved in 34 games and has managed to contribute towards 15 goals.

Despite having found the back of the net on just five occasions last season, Postecoglou has high expectations from the 23-year-old who can feature anywhere in the attack.

Johnson plays as a striker for his national team, but he is more of a winger at Spurs. He is expected to excel in his second season at the club. He has adjusted well to life at Tottenham and seems to have a clear picture of what the manager wants from him.

It will be interesting to see if he can get better with time and end up playing a very important role for Spurs during the 2024/25 season.

Tottenham are prepared to activate Eberechi Eze’s release clause to secure his transfer from Crystal Palace.

The North London club are looking for ways to further reinforce their squad ahead of next season. Ange Postecoglou wants to ensure he has the needed depth and quality to take the next step with Tottenham. According to a report from talkSPORT, Spurs are keen on signing Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace and they are ready to trigger his release clause.

Eze has had a sensational rise since joining the Eagles back in 2020. He was involved in 31 matches last season and ended up contributing towards 17 goals (11 goals, 6 assists). The attacking midfielder’s consistent performances have helped him secure a place in Gareth Southgate’s squad for the Euros.

While he still has three years left on his deal at Selhurst Park, the Eagles will find it hard to keep hold of him given the amount of interest in his signature. Spurs are the ones keen on signing him as they look to add more firepower to their attack. Eze could be a great addition to their squad as he can compete with James Maddison for a place in the starting XI and can also feature on the flanks when needed.

The English international is believed to have a release clause of around £60 million in his current contract and Spurs will look to trigger it once they are able to offload a few of their players and make room in their wage bill.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Emerson Royal are two players who are expected to leave the club in the coming days. Their departure could given them the needed financial aid to bring Eze to the club.
