The Cherries talisman has tasted European football before and would have the chance to play in the Europa League with Spurs.
Tottenham Hotspur are thought to be closing in on the signing of Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke in what would be a statement piece of transfer business this summer for the North London side.
The 26-year-old plundered 19 Premier League goals last season, his best ever top flight tally, and would add some serious firepower to Spurs' attacking options. Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has reported that the player has given the green light to Spurs, signalling his keenness for a move.

The Telegraph has slapped a £65 million price tag on the potential deal with the Cherries thought to be willing to part with their star man for such a high profit. Solanke signed for Bournemouth from Liverpool in January 2019 for £19 million.
The talisman has not spoken publicly about the rumours but did appear to drop a hint about where he wanted to be playing his football when appearing on the Rising Ballers podcast. Solanke was asked for his opinions on European football and gushed over his brief experience in the Champions League.
He said: "European football is a dream for everyone, I had the pleasure to play in it a few times. Especially that season with Liverpool when we got to the final but didn't quite manage to go all the way. Whenever I hear the song I get goosebumps. To experience that, especially at night time under the lights, it's unreal."
Solanke picked up a runners-up medal with the Reds in 2018 and, while a move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium wouldn't reunite the striker with immediate Champions League football, Spurs are qualified for the Europa League next season and those magical nights under the lights would be back on the player's calendar.

Speaking about Solanke's future at the end of July, Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola wasn't able to rule out a potential exit. He said: "Dom is happy. He has come back in very good shape, is training very well and the relationship he has with his team-mates is very good.
"But the market is open. You cannot say he is going to stay or that he is going to leave because we don't know. In the end, it is something you cannot control."
